Medicinally, mint is a calming herb that has been used for thousands of years to help soothe an upset
stomach or indigestion. You can’t go wrong adding mint to your diet. It’s health benefits range from
improving brain function and digestive systems to relieving cold symptons and bad breath.
For help around your home, the smell of mint repels houseflies, moths, ants, mosquitos, and even mice.
In aromatherapy, mint oil is used to relieve stress and increase alertness. For anyone who doesn’t want
to grow their own mint but still want to enjoy its benefits, many manufactured products are also
available. Mint oil is used in toothpastes, beauty products, and home fragrances.
